European Commission calls from Germany to explain the postponement of the labour market |

On Wednesday, the German government asked the Brussels postponement of the opening of markets for citizens of Eastern Europe and to separate up till 2011. The country has made the decision despite its shortage of manpower.
The European Union have the right to require postponement, but should be done only if the country out clear evidence of risk of serious disturbances of their labour market.
Vladimir Špidla request yesterday from Germany to explain in detail why it has decided to postpone the opening of its labour market to workers from Eastern Europe only for the 2011 year.
Špidla in the European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities. He said that Germany expects the clear and specific and detailed explanations of their base will assess whether the country provides convincing arguments.
Špidla is now in Bonn conference and speak to the journalists of the German newspaper Frankfurter allgemeine zeitung. |
