Negotiations for a new global agreement at the World Trade Organization have failure |

The General Director of World Trade Organization WTO Pascal Lamy formally announced that negotiations for new global trade agreement have been failures, which became inevitable after the clash between U.S., India, China and Indonesia on matters of agriculture and the protection of poor farmers against major foreign competition.
By India and China want the inclusion of a special clause in the contract that would happen in a lower level of imported goods in the domestic market in order to protect local producers and with this request met hard rebuffed U.S. and other countries Who in turn wanted the clause to be included at higher levels, so as not prevent exporters.
