Applications for jobless benefits in the U.S. most attacks of Sept. 11 |

The number of initial requests for aid in the U.S. last week has risen to the highest level of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 and the number of permanently unemployed has reached a maximum of 25 years, announced CNNMoney.
Labor of the United States reported that initial applications for aid had reached 516 thousand for the week to November 8. In comparison, for the week to September 29, 2001 their number was 517 thousand.
Compared with the previous week applications have increased by 32 thousand were expected to increase to 479 thousand, for the same period of last year the number was 338 thousand
The number of permanently unemployed rose to C 65 thousand million in 3897 to Nov. 1. In comparison, at the same time last year they were 2587 million
Average for the past four weeks initial requests for assistance have increased by 13 250 to 491 thousand data over 400 thousand were recorded during the last two recession.
Most initial claims rose in Ohio and Michigan because of reductions in the automotive industry.
