British government presented its plans for a 10 fold increase energy from renewable sources to 12 years, Reuters reported. The scheme is well met, but meets criticism because of the lack of concrete measures to reduce emissions of harmful gases and dependence on fossil fuels.
The proposal the government provides about one third of the country's electricity come from renewable sources by 2020, as estimated investment for this purpose are 100 billion pounds.
According to plans to increase the support and removing obstacles to projects for environmentally clean energy will lead to the placement of 4000 wind turbines on land and sea in 3000 more by 2020
Experts warn, however, MYOB and that any further consultations are to lose time.
"Although the government views on the matter are laudable, yet another period of review of policy advice and will not accept our" says the expert on green energy Ben Warren of Ernst & Young. The time for discussion is done - as is increasingly closer in 2020 must take some difficult decisions.
Association for Renewable Energy also argued that the government speaks and does very little, and engineers warned that it is not fully appreciate the problems with the construction of so many wind parks for such a small period of time.
Currently, Britain receives only about 5 percent of its electricity from renewable sources, mainly because of problems in planning and connection to the transmission network, which stopped the growth of the sector.
Government provides for increasing the share of energy from renewable sources to be completed with the construction of new nuclear power plants and power plants, working with "clean coal". |
